The committee will discuss the State Building Board's and the Division of Facilities Construction and Management's process for qualifying and managing capital maintenance projects.

The committee will discuss draft legislation that addresses errors in the code identified by committee staff relating to political activities and elections.

The committee will discuss draft legislation that addresses errors in the code identified by the Office of the Lieutenant Governor relating to elections.

5.   Report from the Federal Funds Commission

Section 63C-14-301 requires the Federal Funds Commission to report to the committee on the commission's findings and recommendations.

Section 63I-4a-203 requires the Free Market Protection and Privatization Board to report to the committee annually.

7.   Review of Required Reports

The committee will review statutes that require reports to be given to the committee to determine whether any should be modified or eliminated.

8.   Entities with Legislative Participation

The Legislative Management Committee asked the committee to review each board or commission in which legislative participation is required by statute in order to determine the board or commission's effectiveness and recommend to the Legislative Management Committee whether the board or commission should be repealed or modified. The committee will hear from several of the 25 boards and commissions on the committee's focused study list.
