Leadership Meeting, the committee and other participants discussed options
for principal preparation, the Utah Educational Leadership Standards, and
principal residencies. Participants will hear about the results of that
meeting. ·

will hear about the importance of professional learning for principals and the
Wallace Foundation’s five key characteristics of effective principals. ·

4. Ongoing Professional Learning for Principals: Leadership
Academies Participants
will hear about leadership academies and how they encourage the practice of
effective principals. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss what
