2.    Economic Development Incentives: Efficiencies and Reform

The Committee will discuss tax incentives administered by the Governor’s Office of Economic Development.

3.    Economic Development Incentives: Strategic Growth Revolving Loan Fund

The Committee will discuss H.B. 386, Economic Development Modifications, which was introduced in the 2018 General Session but did not pass. H.B. 386 would have created the Strategic Growth Revolving Loan Fund to make loans for economic opportunities or new commercial projects in the state.

4.    Earned Income Tax Credit

The Committee will discuss H.B. 57, Utah Intergenerational Poverty, Work, and Self-sufficiency Tax Credit, which was introduced in the 2018 General Session but did not pass. H.B. 57 would have enacted a state earned income tax credit.
