Utah Code 62A-15-103 requires the Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health to collaborate with the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice (CCJJ) in analyzing data and providing recommendations. CCJJ compiles a report of findings based on data submitted by the division and other agencies. The highlights from the 'JRI 3rd Annual Report' will be presented.

2018 General Session H.B. 298, Victim Advocate Confidentiality Amendments, created the Victim Advocate Confidentiality Task Force. The task force co-chairs will report on the work of the task force.

2018 General Session 1st Sub. H.B. 254, "Campus Sexual Violence Reporting " [bill did NOT pass], would have enacted provisions relating to reports of sexual violence at postsecondary institutions. The Committee will discuss issues relating to this topic.
