·         Call to order

·         Approval of the minutes of the August 1, 2019, and October 18, 2019, meetings

 

2.     Proposal for a museum dedicated to Chinese ceramics and culture

The committee will hear an update on the ad hoc committee review of a proposal by the Jiangxi Provincial Government and Jingdezhen Ceramic Institute (JCI) to locate a museum dedicated to Chinese ceramics and culture in Salt Lake City, Utah.

3.    68th United Nations Civil Society Conference report

The committee will hear a final report on the 68th United Nations Civil Society Conference held in Salt Lake City in August 2019.

4.    Liaoning reciprocal visit and trade mission

The Committee will hear an update on the Legislature’s reciprocal visit and trade mission to Liaoning Province, Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangdong Province in China from May 29-June 8, 2020.

5.    China novel Coronavirus update
The Committee will hear an update on the novel coronavirus epidemic currently ongoing in China.

6.    China International Import Expo (CIIE)
The Committee will hear a report on the November 27 China International Import Expo (CIIE) roadshow at World Trade Center Utah.

The Committee will hear a report on the recent visit to Taiwan by state legislators.

The Committee will hear a report from the Utah Council for Citizen Diplomacy on their recent and upcoming activities.

9.    Kurdistan reciprocal visits
The Committee will hear a follow-up on the offer for reciprocal visits from the Kurdish Ambassador to state legislators.
