NATURAL RESOURCES, AGRICULTURE, AND ENVIRONMENT INTERIM COMMITTEE

1.    Text Box: As authorized by Utah Code, Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act, and in accordance with Joint Rule 1-4- 402, this meeting will be conducted electronically to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). 2.    Industrial Hemp Program

The committee will study the industrial hemp program, licensing, investigations, enforcement, and fees.

The committee will discuss possible amendments to the Agricultural Nuisance Act.

The committee will study wildfire management on public lands including risk management and shared stewardship with the federal government.

The committee will discuss the status of the sensitive species list including proposed additions and deletions from the list.

6.    Algal Blooms in Utah Lakes

The committee will hear from stakeholders regarding a pilot program to treat toxic algal blooms in Utah Lake.
