1.    Committee Business

·         Call to order

·         Approval of the minutes of the August 19, 2020, meeting

 

2.    Transportation Planning and Funding

The committee will discuss the role of regional entities and state agencies in long range planning and allocating funding as well as the source of funds. The committee will also discuss the processes for the Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP), the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP), and the Transit Transportation Investment Fund (TTIF).

·         Representatives from the Mountainland Association of Governments (MAG)

·         Representatives from the Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT)

·         Representatives from the Transportation Commission

·         Representatives from the Utah Transit Authority (UTA)

3.    Transit District Financing

The committee will discuss the recently imposed second, third and fourth quarters, the potential use of the fifth quarter, and the revenue available for use by transit districts.

4.    Road Funding Mechanisms

The committee will discuss traffic congestion pricing and the status of the Road Usage Charge program.

5.    Sunset Review: Point of the Mountain Development Commission Act

The committee will conduct a sunset review of Utah Code Title 63C, Chapter 17, Point of the Mountain Development Commission Act, which has a repeal date of July 1, 2021.
