LEGISLATIVE REDISTRICTING COMMITTEE

As authorized by Utah Code, Title 52, Chapter 4, Open and Public Meetings Act, and in accordance with Joint Rule 1-4-402, this meeting will be conducted electronically to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

This electronic meeting may be held without an anchor location if the chair determines that:

▪ conducting the meeting with an anchor location presents a substantial risk to the health or safety of those who
may be present at the anchor location; or

▪ the location where the public body would meet is ordered closed to the public for health or safety reasons.

 

Whether the meeting is conducted with or without an anchor location, members of the public may participate remotely in the meeting. 2.    Chair-recommended State School Board Map

Chairs Sandall and Ray will present their recommended State School Board map for consideration by the committee. The committee will then discuss the chairs’ map and may discuss other school board maps, hear public comment, and vote to recommend a State School Board map.

3.    Chair-recommended State Senate Map

Chair Sandall will present his recommended state Senate map for consideration by the committee. The committee will then discuss the chair’s map and may discuss other state Senate maps, hear public comment, and vote to recommend a state Senate map.

Chair Ray will present his recommended state House map for consideration by the committee. The committee will then discuss the chair’s map and may discuss other state House maps, hear public comment, and vote to recommend a state House map.
