Legislative Prioritization of Licensing Reviews
The
Office of Professional Licensure Review (OPLR) provides the Legislature with
objective review and recommendations related to occupational licenses. To
ensure that OPLR’s periodic reviews of existing occupational licenses are
aligned with legislative priorities, statute requires the office to submit a
list to the committee of each periodic review that OPLR proposes to conduct
during the upcoming year. The committee will review the list of each periodic
review that OPLR proposes to conduct during 2023, including the scope of each
periodic review, and will approve the list, with or without modifications.
