2. Consideration of the Appointment of Gregg Galecki as a
Member of the Board of Oil, Gas, and Mining
Gregg
Galecki is appointed to replace Chris Hansen as a member who is knowledgeable
in mining
matters for the Board of Oil, Gas, and Mining, a term to expire March 1, 2027.
See Utah Code 40−6−4(2)(c)(i). The committee will discuss the
nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will consider whether
to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.

Consideration of the Appointment of Spencer
Jones as a Member of the Board of Water Resources
Spencer
Jones (U) is appointed to replace James Lemmon as a member representing the Lower
Colorado District for the Board of Water Resources, a term to expire January 1,
2027. See Utah Code 73−10−2(2)(h). The committee will discuss the
nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will consider whether
to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.

Consideration of the Appointment of Dana
Van Horn as a Member of the Board of Water Resources
Dana Van
Horn (U) is appointed to replace Norman Johnson as a member representing the
Upper Colorado River District for the Board of Water Resources, a term to
expire January 1, 2027. See Utah Code 73−10−2(2)(g). The committee
will discuss the nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will
consider whether to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.

Consideration of the
Appointment of Sonja Norton as a Member of the Air Quality Board
Sonja
Norton is appointed to replace Greg Todd as a government representative who
does not represent the federal government for the Air Quality Board, the
remaining portion of the term to expire April 20, 2025. See Utah Code
19-2-103(1)(b)(ii). The committee will discuss the nominee’s qualifications,
may receive public comment, and will consider whether to recommend the
nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.

Consideration of the Appointment of
Suzanne Harrison as a Member of the Air Quality Board
Suzanne
Harrison is appointed to replace Erin Mendenhall as a government representative
who does not represent the federal government for the Air Quality Board, a term
to expire March 1, 2026. See Utah Code 19-2-103(1)(b)(ii). The committee will
discuss the nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will
consider whether to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.
