2. Department
of Transportation Procurement Rules
The committee will receive presentations from committee staff and
stakeholders on administrative rules and policies related to procurement at
the Department of Transportation and investigate whether those rules align
with the Legislature’s intent in Title 63G, Chapter 6a, Utah Procurement Code.

Follow-Up: Alpine School District Operating Procedures
The committee will continue its discussion
of Alpine School District’s operating procedures, as well as proposed school
closures and boundary changes with input from members of the district board,
in an effort to oversee the provisions created in Section 53G-4-402 along with
multiple pieces of legislation from the most recent general session.
4.
Davis School District Sensitive Materials Review Procedures
The committee will investigate the
standing policies and processes for review of sensitive materials in place at
Davis School District and hear presentations from committee staff on existing
statutory requirements and administrative rules. The committee will consider
existing law and administrative procedures to determine whether they comply
with legislative intent.
5. Board of Pardons and Parole Warrant
Requirements
The committee will receive presentations from committee staff
and agency representatives on probable cause requirements for issuing warrants
at the Board of Pardons and Parole in an effort to oversee the provisions
created in Section 77-27-11 and identified in legislative audit #2022-14,
"A Performance Audit of the Board of Pardons and Parole."
