2. School Building Design and
Construction Safety and Security Protocols
Statute directs the School Security Task Force to recommend safety and security protocols for the design, construction, and reconstruction of new and existing schools. The task force will hear a presentation about best practices for school building safety and security protocols.

3. Task
Force Updates
Committee members and staff will
provide an update on issues relevant to the task force. This includes an
overview of the Campus Safety Conference, which some task force members and
staff attended, and the 2023 Utah School Safety Conference, sponsored by the
Utah State Board of Education School Safety Center.
