The committee will
discuss the Utah Office of Regulatory Relief’s responsibilities, activities, and
administration of the regulatory sandbox program. The committee will discuss
the office’s framework for analyzing the risks of removing or waiving laws and
regulations that inhibit the creation of new and existing companies or
industries. The committee will also discuss reciprocity agreements between
states that use or propose to use similar regulatory sandbox programs.

The committee will discuss
the purpose and function of the County Recorder Standards Board (CRSB),
including its operations and activities as outlined in the CRSB annual report.
The committee will also discuss recommendations for legislation from the CRSB to
create more consistency in defining notarial acknowledgment across multiple
statutes.

The Office of Professional Licensure
Review (OPLR) conducts a review of each regulated occupation at least once
every 10 years. OPLR will discuss the periodic reviews that the office
proposes to conduct during the upcoming year, including the scope of each
periodic review. The committee will approve the list, with or without
modification.
