2.    Review of Gubernatorial Nomination of Jennifer Fresques as a Commissioner of the State Tax Commission

The governor has nominated Jennifer Fresques to be reappointed as a Commissioner of the State Tax Commission, the remaining portion of the term to expire June 30, 2028, see Utah Code Ann. § 59-1-201. The committee will discuss the nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will consider whether to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.
