3.    Legislative Audit: Teacher and Student Success Act

The committee will receive a presentation from the Office of the Legislative Auditor General staff on A Performance Audit of the Teacher and Student Success Program: A Policy Question of Oversight versus Local Control. The Legislative Audit Subcommittee assigned this audit on May 14, 2024.

4.    Higher Education: Strategic Plan and Updates

The committee will receive an update from the Utah System of Higher Education on the system’s strategic plan, recent tuition increases across degree-granting institutions, and the implementation of legislation passed during the 2024 General Session.
