The committee will receive a presentation from the Metro Gang Unit (MGU) and the Salt Lake Area Gang Project detailing the role juveniles play in gang activity, challenges related to arresting, holding, or prosecuting juveniles, and changes to state code that will help law enforcement address issues specifically related to gang-involved juveniles.
