The committee will consider draft legislation to address certain crimes committed against children, such as ritual abuse of a minor.

3.    Children’s Justice Centers

The committee will receive presentations on current practices for interviewing children at Children’s Justice Centers about allegations of abuse, including any techniques, protocols, and accommodations employed in interviewing children with disabilities.

5.    Prosecutor-Initiated Resentencing

The committee will receive presentations on prosecutor-initiated resentencing, a reform that several states have enacted that allows prosecutors to evaluate past cases and bring them forward to a court or parole board for possible resentencing.

6.    Victim Services
