2.    Review of Gubernatorial Nomination of Deanna Herring as the Executive Director of the State Tax Commission

The governor has nominated Deanna Herring to be appointed as the Executive Director of the State Tax Commission, see Utah Code Ann. § 59-1-206. The committee will discuss the nominee’s qualifications, may receive public comment, and will consider whether to recommend the nominee’s confirmation to the full Senate.
