The committee will receive a presentation from the Division of Consumer Protection on complaints received for extra fees that are not clearly communicated to consumers prior to purchase and consider potential legislative solutions.

5.    Draft Legislation: Property Rights Ombudsman Act Amendments

The committee will consider draft legislation, “Property Rights Ombudsman Act Amendments,” which extends the sunset date of the Land Use and Eminent Domain Advisory Board by 10 years.
