The commission will receive a report on the work for the commission to update the 1956 Eisenhower Report regarding federal jurisdiction over public lands.

The commission will discuss how the jurisdiction over public lands is applied in Utah and what states can do to assert their authority and jurisdictional rights.

The commission will receive a report from the Department of Environmental Quality regarding discussions with the federal government, recent actions by the federal government impacting environmental issues in the state, and an overview of H.B. 85, 2025 General Session.

The commission will receive a status update on the implementation of H.B. 488, 2025 General Session including work being done to develop an education and federalism training program, preparations for an annual federalism summit, outreach to other states, and planning for a national federalism commission of the states.
