3.    Utah Retirement Systems Overview and Update

The committee will receive an overview of the Utah Retirement Systems’ role and functions, the 2024 investment returns, and an update of the retirement systems’ funded ratios.

4.    Line-of-Duty Death Benefits

The committee will study the line-of-duty death benefits provided to members in Tier 1, Tier 2 Hybrid Retirement System, and Tier 2 Defined Contribution Plan.

5.    PEHP System Transition

The committee will hear about the Public Employees’ Health Program system transition taking place this upcoming plan year, why the change was necessary, and the nature of the system changes. The committee will receive an update on the new co-pay tool and other new features of planned coverage.
