2. Draft Legislation: “County Governance Amendments”

The committee will discuss draft legislation “County Governance Amendments” for inclusion in a potential special session that would address the districting of county council members in counties that use the county executive-council or the council-manager form of government.

The committee will discuss the roles and responsibilities of counties that are mainly incorporated, with attention to the roles and duties of such counties and possible overlap of effort between the county and municipalities.
