6.    2026 Draft Legislation: Minor Driving Hours Amendments

The committee will review draft legislation, Minor Driving Hours Amendments, which clarifies that a licensed adult driver who can supervise learner permit driving hours includes a stepparent or foster parent.

7.    Required Report: Mobility and Environmental Impact Analysis

The committee will hear a report from the University of Utah’s Utah Population Database on the results of its biennial information security audit of the information systems that store driver license data per Utah Code §53-3-109.
