The committee will consider draft legislation, Used Oil Management Act Amendments, which increases the recycling fee on the sale of lubricating oil and grants rulemaking authority to the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control.

6.    Draft Legislation: Lead Acid Battery Amendments

The committee will consider draft legislation, Lead Acid Battery Amendments, which removes Title 19, Chapter 6, Part 6, Lead Acid Battery Disposal, from the Utah Sunset Act (see Utah Code 63I-1-219).

The committee will consider draft legislation, “Land Trusts Protection and Advocacy Office Amendments,” which clarifies the Land Trusts Protection and Advocacy Office’s role and implements distribution accountability requirements for non-public education trust beneficiaries.
