Truth in Taxation Checklist for Fiscal
Year Taxing Entities
Representatives from the
Utah State Tax Commission will present a comprehensive list of steps required
before a fiscal year entity may adopt a property tax increase.

Effectiveness and Utilization of Tax
Credits
As part of the five-year
review cycle required by statute, the committee will review the tax credit for
alternative fuel heavy duty vehicles (Utah Code § 59-10-1033.1), the tax credit for
hand tools used in farming (Utah Code § 59-7-614.1), and the tax credit for
employing a recently deployed veteran (Utah Code § 59-10-1031).
