The
committee will receive an overview from staff on government operations
legislation during the 2026 General Session.
4. National Election Trends
The
committee will receive a presentation from staff on recently passed legislation
in other states, federal acts and executive orders, and relevant court cases.
5. Sunset Review: Executive
Residence Commission
The
committee will receive a presentation on Section 67-1-8.1, Executive Residence
Commission, which will sunset on July 1, 2027.

Sunset Review: State Finance Review Commission
The
committee will receive a presentation on Title 63C-25, State Finance Review
Commission, which will sunset on July 1, 2027.

Sunset Review: Legislative Process Committee
The
committee will receive a presentation on Title 36-17, Legislative Process
Committee, which will sunset on January 1, 2028.
8.
Cooperative Contracts Fund
The
committee will study the cooperative contract program with the Department of
Government Operations, including current operations and whether the cooperative
contracts fund should be converted from an internal service fund (ISF) to an
enterprise fund (EF).
