Chair Henderson called the meeting to order at 2:10 PM.
1. S.B. 37 Interventions for Reading Difficulties Sunset Amendments (Millner, A.)
Sen. Millner presented the bill with the assistance of Jennifer Throndsen, PreK-12 Literacy Coordinator, Utah State Board of Education.
Chair Henderson designated Sen. Grover to chair the meeting. Acting Chair Grover assumed the chair.
Phoebe Beacham, Co-founder, Decoding Dyslexia Utah, spoke in favor of the bill.
Aubrie Shaw, youth advocate, spoke in favor of the bill.
Mitchell Olson, youth advocate, spoke in favor of the bill.
