MOTION: Rep. Dunnigan moved to amend 3rd Substitute S.B. 96 with Amendment #2. The motion passed with a vote of 14-0-1.

Mr. Nate Checketts, Director, Division of Medicaid and Health Financing, Department of Health, was asked by Chair Dunnigan to clarify information regarding other states that have a work requirement for healthy Medicaid recipients. Mr. Checketts provided the information. Mr. Checketts also answered questions from the committee.
Ms. Joni Molloy, citizen, spoke for the bill and provided letters from three people who were unable to attend the meeting due to the snow.
Ms. Jesse Mandle, Senior Health Policy Analyst, Voices for Utah Children, spoke against the bill.
Rep. Schultz moved to pass 3rd Substitute S.B. 96 out favorably.
The motion passed with a vote 9-6-0.
