Chair Gibson called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m.
Members of the task force introduced themselves.

Rep. Schultz spoke about how the task force came to be.

Rep. Quinn moved to approve the vision, purpose, principles, and process statement as written.
SUBSTITUTE MOTION: Rep. Briscoe moved to amend the vision, purpose, principles, and process statement to include the phrase "revenue collection, the analysis of our tax structure, and the policy making process should be subject to the light of day" and adopt the amended statement. The substitute motion passed with a vote of 7-0-7.

SUBSTITUTE MOTION: Sen. Hillyard moved to approve the town hall schedule with the caveat that it may be changed as specific locations are identified. The substitute motion passed with a vote of 7-0-7.
