Heather Lewis, Prevention Program Manager, Utah County Department of Drug and Alcohol Prevention and Treatment, spoke on the purpose and goals of the alcohol policy summit that will be held on October 18, 2019, at the Capitol. |

Amelia Powers Gardner, Utah County Clerk Auditor, spoke on Utah County's experience using blockchain technology for uniformed and overseas citizens' absentee voting and how secure and streamlined the technology is for voting. They also explained how blockchain technology could be implemented for marriage licenses. |
Joel Weight, Medici Ventures, the blockchain incubator of Overstock.com, answered previous questions from committee members and cautioned that blockchain technology does not make sense in every situation. |
