1. Committee Business
Acting Chair Mayne called the meeting to order at 10:00 a.m. and relinquished the chair to Sen. Weiler.
2. Team Hill Mission Growth and Regional Impacts
Gary Harter, Executive Director, Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, introduced Col Jon Eberland.
Col John Eberland, 75 ABW Commander, briefed the commission on the work being done currently and work projected into the future at Hill Air Force Base, including expected growth, needs to accommodate growth, and the economic impact for the state.
Rob Alexander, Executive Director, Aerospace Heritage Foundation, discussed the mission of the foundation and expressed gratitude for ongoing funding provided by the Legislature.
3. Other Items/Adjourn
Terry Schow moved to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed unanimously.
Chair Weiler adjourned the meeting at 10:50 a.m.
