Rep. Susan Pulsipher explained the bill with the assistance of Angie Stallings, Deputy Superintendent of Policy at the Utah State Board of Education.
Mike Anderson, Associate Superintendent of Jordan School District, spoke in favor of the bill.
Terry Shoemaker of Utah School Board Association and Utah School Superintendents Association, spoke in favor of the bill.
