Chair Harper called the meeting to order at 8:21 a.m.
MOTION: Sen. Winterton moved to approve the minutes of February 20, 2020. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.

Sen. Anderegg presented the bill and answered questions from the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Anderegg moved to pass S.B. 159 out favorably. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.

Rep. Karianne Lisonbee presented the bill and answered questions from the committee.
Ron Mortensen, citizen, spoke for the bill.
Mary Beckerle, Chief Executive Officer, Huntsman Cancer Institute, spoke in favor of the bill and answered questions from the committee.
Ken Smith, Director, Utah Population Database, Huntstman Cancer Institute, answered questions from the committee.
Sen. Anderegg assumed the chair.
Tony Murillo, Director of Computing and Technology, Huntsman Cancer Institute, answered questions from the committee.
MOTION: Sen. Winterton moved to go to the next item on the agenda. The motion passed with a vote of 4-0-4.
