Staff will give a brief overview of 2019-20 appellate decisions that call for legislative action. The committee will discuss how to proceed on the decisions that were approved for interim study.

3.    Draft Legislation: Uniform Electronic Wills Act

The committee will discuss legislation for the 2020 Sixth Special Session that enacts the Uniform Electronic Wills Act.

4.    Draft Legislation: Sentencing Amendments

The committee will discuss legislation for the 2020 Sixth Special Session that addresses the modification of jail sentences in emergencies.

5.    Justice Court Reform

Committee will study potential reforms to Utah justice courts.
