Cameron Diehl, Executive Director, Utah League of Cities and Towns, and LeGrand Bitter, Executive Director, Utah Association of Special Districts, commented on the proposed draft legislation.

Sen. Thatcher introduced the issue and discussed provisions of draft legislation, "Mental Health Crisis Intervention Council," which would create a short-term commission to address crisis intervention training for law enforcement.
