1.Consideration of the Proposed Reappointment of Gary Harter as the Executive Director of the Department of Veterans and Military Affairs |
Gary Harter briefed the committee on his past experience as the Executive Director of the Department of Veterans and Military Affairs, discussed future plans for the Department, and responded to committee questions. |
Chair Thatcher explained the confirmation process for gubernatorial appointments and why the confirmation committee hearings are important. |
2.Consideration of the Proposed Appointment of Jenney Rees as the Executive Director of the Department of Administrative Services |
Jenney Rees, Mayor, Cedar Hills, gave an opening statement on her background, experience, and qualifications for the position of Executive Director of the Department of Administrative Services, and responded to committee questions. |
