Benjamin Hart, Deputy Director, Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, explained how there is confusion among businesses regarding the potential vaccine mandate and how businesses are responding to the announcement from the Biden administration.
Jaceson R. Maughan, Commissioner, Utah Labor Commission, spoke on the potential emergency temporary standard from the Occupational Health and Safety Administration and how the emergency temporary standard would effect the state.
Daniel Burton, General Counsel, Office of the Utah Attorney General and Melissa Holyoak, Solicitor General, Office of the Utah Attorney General, spoke on the potential vaccine mandate and gave legal analysis.
The committee asked questions of Jaceson Maughan and Melissa Holyoak.
