2.1 Presentation: Assessing Utah's Behavioral Health System |
Laura Summers, Senior Healthcare Analyst, Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, University of Utah, and Doug Thomas, Community Health Director, Intermountain Health Care, gave a presentation on a roadmap for Utah's mental health system and answered council questions. |
Greg Bell, President, Utah Hospital Association, shared further information on the study associated with the mental health system roadmap and helped answer council questions. |
Mark Rapaport, CEO, Huntsman Mental Health Institute, shared information on research that could be helpful to the mental health system roadmap study and helped answer council questions. |

The council discussed their schedule for 2022. |
Rep. Ward explained the procedure for this council to open a committee bill file during future meetings. |
The council Chairs shared priority items that the council could discuss in future meetings. |
The council discussed the proposed priority items and shared some other items they would like to discuss. |
The council discussed potential groups/agencies that could present to the council that may be helpful to the council's future discussions and goals. |
