Taylor Randall, President, University of Utah, gave an overview of the university and discussed funding requests. |

Rep. Miles asked about the demand trends of high-yield degrees. |
|
Sen. Riebe asked about the turnover in counseling staff and about the Entertainment Arts and Engineering (gaming) Degree. Pres. Randall responded and continued the presentation. |

Several committee members commented and asked questions. |

Trina Limpert, Director of Operations, and Robbyn Scribner, Director of Outreach, Tech-Moms, explained this funding request. |
|
Chair Grover asked how individuals find their services. Trina Limpert responded. |
|
Rep. Robert Spendlove explained the request for appropriation with the assistance of Natalie Gochnour, Director of the Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute at the University of Utah. |

Sen.Luz Escamilla introduced this funding request on behalf on Sen. Mayne. |

Joe Allen, University of Utah, Director of Graduate Programs and Dr. Ravi Krovi, Provost & Vice President of Academic Affairs, Weber State University explained this funding request. |
