Vice Chair Kohler called the meeting to order at 9:10:10 AM.
1.H.C.R. 13 Concurrent Resolution Creating the Bridal Veil Falls State Monument (Stratton, K.)
Chair Stratton presented the bill with assistance of Jeff Rasmussen, Director, Utah State Parks, and Bill Lee, Commissioner, Utah County. They responded to questions from the committee.
Mara Hammer, member of the public, spoke in favor of the bill and responded to a question from the committee.
Craig Christensen, Conserve Utah Valley, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION:Rep. Bennion moved to pass H.C.R. 13 out favorably.The motion passed with a vote of 9-0-5.
