Rep. Suzanne Harrison presented the bill with the assistance of Dr. Val Radmall, DDS, Executive Director, Utah Dental Association, and Dr. Travis Slade, Vice President, Utah Society of Anesthesiologists. Rep. Harrison indicated that the following organizations support H.B. 384: the Utah Association of Nurse Anesthetists, the Utah Dental Association, the Utah Medical Association, and the Utah Association of Oral and Maxiofacial Surgeons.
Mark Brinton, Utah Medical Association, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION:Sen. Wilson moved to replace H.B. 384 with 1st Substitute H.B. 384.The motion passed with a vote of 5-0-3.
