Johnnie Miller, Chief Executive Officer, Utah Counties Indemnity Pool, presented about the draft legislation.
Kami Perkins, Human Resource Director, City Treasurer, City of Tooele, commented.
MOTION:Senator McKell moved to favorably recommend "Volunteer Government Workers Amendments" as a committee bill.The motion passed with a vote of 9-0-7.

Christy Still, Sales and Marketing Director, Summit Vista, and Chad Staheli, Chairman of the Board, Summit Vista, presented an overview of Summit Vista and answered committee questions.
Jonathan T. Pike, Commissioner, Utah Insurance Department, and Reed Stringham, Deputy Commissioner, Utah Insurance Department, spoke about current regulation.
Committee members discussed current regulations.
Robert Behunin, Government and Public Affairs Director, R&R Partners, explained requests for changes to statute and responded to committee questions.
MOTION:Senator McKell moved to open a committee bill file about continuing care retirement facilities. The motion passed with a vote of 10-0-6.
