Chair Hinkins called the meeting to order.

2.Water Conservation Efforts
2a. Water Conservation Legislation and Appropriations
Nathan Brady gave a short overview of water conservation legislation and appropriations from the past three years.
2b. Division of Water Resources Water Conservation Presentation
Candice Hasenyager, Director, Division of Water Resources, presented on water conservation efforts and programs throughout the state.
The commission asked questions of Candice Hasenyager.
Wade Garrett, Vice President, Strategic Relationships and Public Policy, Utah Farm Bureau Federation, spoke to water conservation education at the grade school level in the state.
2c. JVWCD Water Conservation Presentation
Bart Forsyth, General Manager, Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District, presented on water conservation progress and direction within the state.
The commission discussed water conservation legislation. Bart Forysth continued presenting.
The commission asked questions of Bart Forsyth.
2d. WCWCD Water Conservation Presentation
Karry Rathje, Government Affairs Manager, Washington County Water Conservancy District, presented on water conservation efforts throughout the state and in Southern Utah.
The commission asked questions of Karry Rathje.
Justin Lee, Director of Government Relations, Utah League of Cities and Towns, presented on water conservation efforts among the state's cities and towns.
The commission asked questions of Justin Lee.
Chair Hinkins opened the commission to public comment.
Zach Frankel, Executive Director, Utah Rivers Council, spoke on water issues and water conservation in the state.
Kael Weston, Resident, spoke on water conservation efforts in the state.
3.Water Technology
Chair Hinkins presented briefly on water technology being used in agriculture.
