| Charles Stormont, Director, Right of Way and Property Management, Utah Department of Transportation, reported on the number of housing units and moderate income housing units that were permanently vacated or destroyed in 2022 as a result of a funded transportation project. |

| Nate McDonald, Deputy Director, Department of Workforce Services, introduced the issue. |
| Christina Oliver, Division Director, Housing and Community Development, Department of Workforce Services, discussed two programs, the Olene Walker Walker Housing Loan Fund and the Private Activity Bond Board, offered by the state to address housing affordability. |
| David Damschen, President and CEO, Utah Housing Corporation, outlined additional programs provided to low- and moderate-income Utahns and their families. |
| Corey Johnson, Vice President, Wasatch Advantage Group, discussed affordable housing development in the state. |
| Nate McDonald discussed the role of the department in staffing and supporting the Commission on Housing Affordability. |
| Kyle Palmer, Director, Unified Economic Opportunity Commission, Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity, presented an overview of the process followed by the commission. |

| Dejan Eskic, Senior Research Fellow, Kem C. Gardner Policy Institute, reported on the status of the Utah housing market. |
