1.Call to Order/Approval of Minutes
Chair Watkins called the meeting to order at 12:42 PM.
2.Review of Grant Programs
Jill Love, Executive Director, Department of Cultural and Community Engagement (CCE), presented a report on the Department of Cultural and Community Engagement Grants Programs.
Katherine Potter, Deputy Director, CCE, added information to the presentation.
Jill Love continued her presentation.
Kori Ann Edwards, Managing Director, Governor's Office of Economic Opportunity (GOEO), presented a report on the Economic Assistant Grant.

MOTION:Rep. Teuscher moved to approve under Joint Rule 3-2-101 and 3-2-402, to authorize legislative staff to include in the base budget bill for the Business, Economic Development, and Labor Appropriations Subcommittee the following: 2) Ongoing General Fund appropriations defined in the current year's appropriations acts.3) Federal Fund, Dedicated Credit, Restricted Fund, and account amounts that are the lesser of current year ongoing appropriations or agency budget requests. 4) Adjustments to nonlapsing balances, transfers, and other dependent amounts as calculated.The motion passed with a vote of 8-0-9.

Tuescher moved to approve that the Tax commission work with the LFA and Division of Finance to implement the structural reorganization detailed in the August meeting of the Business, Economic Development, and Labor Subcommittee meeting for FY 2024. The motion passed with a vote of 8-0-9.
