Chair Hinkins called the meeting to order at 2:07 p.m.
1.S.C.R. 3 Concurrent Resolution Encouraging Support for the Listen and Explain, Cooperate and Communicate Campaign (Harper, W.)
Sen. Wayne A. Harper presented the bill.
Jeff Carr, Chief of Police, South Jordan Police Department, spoke in favor of the bill.
Ken Wallentine, Chief of Police, West Jordan, President, Utah Chief of Police Association, spoke in favor of the bill.
MOTION:Sen. Kwan moved to amend S.C.R. 3 with Amendment #1.The motion passed with a vote of 3-0-3.
