Chair Wilcox called the meeting to order at 2:15 p.m.
MOTION:Rep. Gwynn moved to approve the minutes of the July 17, 2023, meeting. The motion passed with a vote of 14-0-4.

3.Task Force Updates
Chair Wilcox, Representative Gwynn, Jeff Van Hulten, Micah Wixom, and Jake Glenn, Policy Advisor, Utah House of Representatives, each presented lessons learned at the Campus Safety Conference in Texas.
Shauntelle Cota, Safe and Healthy Schools Coordinator, Utah State Board of Education, presented lessons learned at the Utah School Safety Conference.
The task force discussed the conferences.

The task force discussed its upcoming meetings.
