Stevenson moved to authorize the Division of Finance to enter into a loan agreement with the Point of the Mountain State Land Authority for $165 million in loans from the Point of the Mountain Infrastructure Fund as appropriated by the Legislature in House Bill 3, Item 357, 2022 General Session and Senate Bill 2, Item 214, 2023 General Session. The loans shall be structured as follows: 1. Three tranches of $25 million, $50 million and $90 million 2. Interest and payments deferred for the first three years after loan origination 3. Annual interest rate of 3% with capitalized interest accruing after the deferral period 4. Repayment term of 35 years after deferral periodThe motion passed with a vote of 18-0-2. | |||
