1 - Utah School Hoax & Threat Incidents SIAC Presentation
Tanner Jensen, Captain and Director of the Statewide Information and Analysis Center, Department of Public Safety, presented an update on school threats in Utah.
Tanner Jensen responded to questions from the task force and continued presenting.
The task force discussed the presentation.
3.Draft Legislation: School Safety Amendments

Micah Wixom, Policy Analyst, Office of Legislative Research and General Counsel, provided an update on 2024 General Session draft legislation, "School Safety Amendments."
Micah Wixom responded to questions from the task force.
The task force discussed the bill file.
Jess Anderson, Commissioner, Department of Public Safety, provided comments during the discussion.
4.School Security Team Updates
The task force discussed updates within each security team's area of study.
Tracy Glover, Kane County Sheriff, provided comments during the discussion.
5.Roundtable Discussion
The task force discussed future work.
