Wayne Niederhauser, State Homeless Services Coordinator, discussed the collaboration between the Department of Health and Human Servies, Department of Corrections, Department of Commerce, and the private and public sectors to address homelessness. |
Rep. Ward asked why youth homelessness has increased far more than for other ages, and Wayne Niederhauser responded. |
Rep. Loubet commented that evictions were paused during COVID and that could be a factor in the increase in homelessness. |
